Four Great Games of All Time
Taking a break from getting into all of the main Final Fantasy games. A trend has popped among gamers asking what are people's four great games of all time. Now for me it's hard to say what was a great game of all time. There are so many that are near and dear to my heart and I feel bad for leaving out any. Not to mention that my list seems to always rotate year to year.
So without further ado let's dive in.
Bravely Default

A beloved spiritual successor to 4 Warriors of Light and a spin off of the Final Fantasy series, Bravely Default and it's sequel Bravely Second are both near and dear to my heart. I've probably amassed a great number of hours in grinding, helping rebuild Norende and making chompcrafts. It's definetely a game I think should hit Steam or at least see a Switch remake coming. Between the story, the cast banter, it's always been a favorite of mine. Not to mention that the character themes for each special attacks have always been bangers, as well as the boss battle themes.
Atelier Escha and Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky

Call me biased. I will always love this game. Sure it's no Atelier Iris, nor Mana Khemia, but this game along with Atelier Ayesha is what made me love Atelier again as a whole. The cast of characters and the dialogue will always be my favorite, along with the intro movie. There were numerous parts where the game moved me to tears many times.
While there was an anime that came out and a manga for the game. I wish that we had more information surrounding the land of Dusk, and more about Escha's mother. Still I feel like this game was a great game.
Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sparch Zarathustra

Probably going to be a controversial pick over the first one. Though I really liked and enjoyed the third one despite the lack of commercial advertising, them getting a few things wrong in the localization of the library (there were some details they got wrong regarding Nephilum and her grandmother Grimoire.) and not releasing A Missing Year in English. However, between the mini games and ES battles, I had a lot of fun with this game. I feel like they took everything wrong with Episode II and at least tried to fix it. Though in the end the game didn't really do all that well, and the future Xenosaga games were cancelled. (There was originally supposed to be six games in the series however with Episode II and Episode III's dismal sales, Bandai Namco decided to axe the sequels completely.)
Shadow Hearts: Covenant

Called Shadow Hearts: Covenant in the Western world, this game quickly became one of my favorites. I played this game before I played the first Shadow Hearts game and despite that I had a blast with it. Between the characters, the story and the use of Tarot cards, I loved how it dealt with secret societies and the like. The battle music was always a banger, with each track being different and even being twisted if you ran out of sanity. The sanity meter was also a nice touch and made Shadow Hearts a unique game experience.
