Granblue Fantasy Review

With the popular mobile game hitting consoles as a JRPG, I figured that it was time to review the original game. I know what you're thinking, "Bard, it's a gacha game." However, it's probably one of the better ones out there. So for this Review Friday, we're going to dive into the world of Granblue Fantasy.

Story

Courtesy of Cygames

You play as either Gran or Djeeta who lives in a village on the floating continent of Zinkerstill. You meet a mysterious girl named Lyria who has the power to control the Primal Beasts, beings that were created by the Astrals, an ancient people long forgotten after the war. Together with your companion Vyrn, and Katalina, you rescue Lyria and embark on a journey to stop the Erste Empire.

While it is a gacha game however there is a massive cast of different and unique characters. There's also collaborations with other games and even anime. Such as Gintama, Nier Automata, Persona 5, Shadowverse just to name a few. The story and the characters have been my favorite thing about the game.
