The Selen Tatsuki Controversy

Now I'm not someone that usually watches vtubers often. Sometimes I'll watch clips from Cy Yu or Monarch or Rin Penrose as they pop up on the youtube shorts I scroll through when I'm trying to wake up before work. They're not someone that I will particularly watch on youtube or twitch for that matter. Now ironically I kind of want to do vtubing myself as I stream old video games.
However, I've seen thumbnails and videos about the Selen Tatsuki controversy. For those uninitiated in this, Selen Tatsuki was a vtuber who was apart of Nijisanji EN, an online company that has multiple vtuber idols, who was terminated by them. The company tried to say that Selen was claiming that she being bullied and harassed by the talent. However, she can't legally say what went on due to her contract with Nijisanji. Due to all of this she has tried to end of her life.
Between them getting their talents trying to hide that there wasn't any abuse going on, nor is there a lawsuit going on, there's been a lot of things that Nijisanji is trying to bury her. Selen herself has told her fans to not go against Nijisanji and their idols. Meanwhile Nijisanji and their fans have continuously tried attack those who attack Nijisanji.
The whole controversy makes me weary of companies like Nijisanji. And those who try to defend them. There is no defending a company who has tried to cause an employee to almost to end their own life. There's no defense to it. There can't be a defense for it.
Though on the bright side, Selen has found new life as Dokibird which was her vtuber identity before signing up with Nijisanji. Though despite that people within the Nijisanji camp are still trying to drag her despite the fact that Nijisanji was the one that tried to terminate her.
